How to Set Gain

1
Set all EQ and bass boost to flat/zero
Turn off any bass boost on amp and head unit. Set EQ flat.
2
Play a test tone (40-50Hz sine wave)
Use a test tone CD, USB, or app. Set head unit to about 75% volume.
3
Set multimeter to AC Volts
Connect probes to speaker output terminals on amplifier.
4
Adjust gain until voltage matches target
Slowly turn gain up until multimeter reads VAC.

⚠️ Important: Incorrect gain settings can damage your amplifier and subwoofers. Always verify your equipment's power ratings before proceeding. If you hear distortion, reduce the gain immediately.
